Disposable gloves: Are they required in a No-clean process

I worked in an electronic manufacturimng plant building PCB's. In our process, after wave soldering the PCB's, we would wash them. From that point in the process, gloves were required to protect the cleanliness of the assemblies. I currently work at a manufactruing plant that utlizes a no-clean lead-free soldering process. There is no board washer in our process. I'm currious to know how other companies are handling similar processes. Are gloves recomended for this type of process as well, and at what point would you recommend the employees using them since there is no wash?
